Scotland: Part 2

Pitlochry Scotland

1300's Castle

The view from our room at Fonab Castle

The adventure continues. We started driving down from Mey on our way to Pitlochry. A few stops were done along the way. The guys wanted to pass by another distillery. We found Dalwhinnie Distillery. The place was so cute. Of course it had white bricks that's why I love it. A few tasting and bottles to go we headed our way. We stopped at The Cross hotel in Kingussie. It was a cute little cottage looking hotel. We stayed there for a night and enjoyed dinner at the hotel as well. We rated their food #1 during this trip. It felt like we were eating at a Michelin star restaurant.

We continued driving south and stopped by the House of Bruar. I needed my dose of shopping. I found some boots, market bag, few little things and presents for the holidays. We then headed to our last destination, Pitlochry. We stayed at Fonab Castle. We stayed there for 3 nights. The room was great. They were huge since it was a real castle back in the day. Accommodations were good. However, there was a few issues with their staff. Some of the staff(not all of them) were rude. I wouldn't go into details on what happened. But if we ever head back to Pitlochry, I'd love to stay somewhere else. We went to two plays when we were there and they were both amazing. (Mary Rose and High Society

We then headed our way to the train station and headed back to London for our last night in the United Kingdom.
